Butterbean and Zaatar Dip

INGREDIENTS

400g can butter beans, drained

4 tbsp olive oil

Juice of ½ lemon

1 tsp salt

½ cup Greek yoghurt

 

For the Zaatar Mix

1 tbsp dry oregano

1 tbsp dry marjoram

1 tbsp sumac

1 tsp sesame seeds

½ tsp salt

Method

1. Mix all the zaatar ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.

2. For the dip, place all other ingredients, along with 2 tbsp of the zaatar mix, into a blender and blitz until smooth.

3. Place dip into a serving bowl and sprinkle with extra zaatar mix. Serve with crisp breads, flatbreads, carrot or celery sticks.
